2018 Fall Community Build
During the 2018 Fall Community Build, groups from local organizations come together to raise $70,000 to build an affordable home for a local family in need. We would like to thank our 2018 sponsors CESO, Columbia Power and Water Systems, First Farmers Bank, Milliken, Rotary Clubs of Williamson County, and SunTrust Bank for their financial support this year.
We are excited to welcome Maria Ayala Munoz to our homeownership program.
Maria, who has worked as a cook at the Cheesecake Factory in Cool Springs for the past three years, says she is proud of her six children and considers raising hardworking, kind children her greatest achievement.”
Ms. Munoz’s son Jesus serves in the US Army Reserves and expresses his appreciation for the work ethic that his mother instilled in him. “She showed me that no matter how bad things get, to never give up. Habitat for Humanity has given us a renewed hope, and we are so thankful. Our family is an example of hard work leading to a better life. We want to thank the sponsors of our home and let them know that their love and faith are going to help our family do great things in the future. Thank you so much.”
