2021 Fall Faith Build
The work of Habitat for Humanity is driven by the desire to give tangible expression to God’s love. During the Fall Faith Build, groups from local churches come together to raise $70,000 to build an affordable home for a local family in need. Thank you to the sponsors of the 2021 Fall Faith Build: First Presbyterian Church of Franklin, Fourth Ave Church of Christ, Holy Family Catholic Church, St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, St. Philip Catholic Church, St. Philip Knights of Columbus – Chapter 7764, and Thrivent Financial.
Habitat Williamson-Maury seeks congregations of all sizes who would like to put their faith into action and serve those in their community. If you are interested in partnering, please contact Kim Randell at 615-550-5616.
We are excited to welcome George Davis to our homeownership program.
Mr. Davis was born and raised in Columbia, TN, graduating from Columbia Central High School in 2001. As a single father, George works very hard to provide for his children Geonna (13), Karionna (12), Aarionna (12), and Malachi (5), working full time at Spring Hill Seating Systems and part time at Stanfill Hardwood Lumber Company. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, going to the park with his kids, and fixing cars.
Homeownership has always been a goal for Mr. Davis and looks forward to getting his hands dirty on his build site. “I want to be remembered as a peaceful person who loves his kids very much. I am happy to be able to be able to secure a better future for myself, but this is really for my children,” he explains. “I want to say thank you to all of my sponsors for giving me this opportunity. It is a true blessing.”
