Seven P.

Navigating life as a single parent, Seven knew that finding a stable and loving home for her family was her top priority. After moving multiple times since the birth of her 17-month-old son, Amari, she applied to Habitat for Humanity’s Homeownership Program with a simple but powerful dream: to create a permanent home where they could grow and thrive together. “Everything I do is for my little boy. He is my light,” she shares.

Amari, an energetic toddler who loves climbing and riding his walking bike, is at the heart of everything Seven does. “The main reason I want to buy a home is my son. Don’t get me wrong, I would love to own my home, but he drives me to be my best.”

Seven envisions a future where Amari can grow up surrounded by love, security, and a place to call his own—a home where they can build lasting memories together. Whether it's spending simple evenings as a family or enjoying their favorite meals, these moments are what matter most to her.

Though she works long hours as the Team Lead at Ryder in a GM factory, she spends her limited free time scrapbooking, transforming her cherished memories into something tangible she can hold near and dear.

Raised in Franklin, Seven has a deep appreciation for Middle Tennessee.

She values the strong educational system and the close-knit, family-centered environment that makes this community special. Like many others, Seven has struggled to find a living space she can afford in the county she loves, especially as a working single mom. With Habitat, she will be able to put down roots for herself and Amari in the community she’s known her entire life.

As she embarks on this new chapter, Seven is excited to learn the skills of homeownership and is deeply grateful for the generosity of Habitat for Humanity’s sponsors. “You are helping me and many other families in troubled times. I cannot be anything but thankful towards y’all. I will forever be in your debt, and God will bless you and your loved ones."
