2023 Habitat High Build
Habitat High helps cultivate the next generation of community-minded young people by providing high school students an opportunity to raise funds for and actually construct a Habitat home for a lower-income family. This year we will build our 23rd Habitat High home since 1997!
Every year local schools set aside rivalries and band together to fundraise, advocate, and build a home with Habitat Williamson-Maury. Students will organize events and fundraisers to help sponsor a home build!

Our 2023 Habitat High Family, Elizabeth Velasquez!
Born and raised in Franklin, TN, Elizabeth graduated from Centennial High School and began her education at Columbia State. Today, Elizabeth works at Cigna Healthcare reviewing medical claims.
Elizabeth feels blessed to begin this journey with Habitat for Humanity. Due to the rising cost of living in our area, it has been challenging for her to find decent, affordable housing on one income. She is thrilled to end the cycle of moving from one rental property to the next and finally to have the opportunity to purchase her own home.
“I would like to thank you all for this opportunity. I don’t know how much I can thank you all for this. If it wasn’t for you all none of this would ever be happening,” Elizabeth remarks.
